Da es keine medizinisch anerkannte Behandlung gibt, ist Pacing — also das Einteilen der eigenen Energie — die wichtigste Strategie im Umgang mit der Erkrankung. Warum musste sich die Hälfte der Befragten es also selbst beibringen?In the absence of medically approved treatment, pacing or learning how to budget energy is the single most important management strategy. So why did half of the respondents have to teach it to themselves?
Was den Zugang zur Versorgung am stärksten blockiert? An der Spitze: fehlendes ärztliches Wissen und die Folge dieses Wissensmangels — das Psychologisieren der Symptome. What blocks access to care the most? At the top: doctors lacking knowledge and the consequences of that lack of education: psychologising of symptoms.
Krankheit wird zur Existenzfrage: Arbeit, Geld, Wohnung und Anträge bei Ämtern, die selbst zur Belastung werden. Illness becomes a question of survival: work, money, housing, and applications to authorities that themselves become a burden.
Die Antworten zeigen sehr klar, was fehlt: medizinisches Wissen, verlässliche Zuständigkeiten und der Wille, Versorgung an der Realität schwer kranker Menschen auszurichten. The responses make clear what is missing: medical knowledge, reliable accountability, and the will to build care around the realities of severely ill people.
